The Moth at the Fillmore
The Fillmore Theater is a finely decorated and suitable location for a show as well done as The Moth. If you haven’t had a listen, head over to their website to hear some free amazing storytelling- no props, no notes, just ordinary people up on the stage one at a time telling true 15 minute stories for this non-profit, Peabody-winning show keeping old fashioned storytelling alive. An added bonus was Erin Zindle, the fiddle player from the Ragbirds– absolutely enchanting. Millions and millions of dollars spent every year on big fancy movies and special effects and here were 1300 people at the Fillmore last night, and at points we were all laughing in an uproar, wiping tears or completely rapt in silence waiting to hear the outcome of these stories. I loved it.
Dinner at the Traffic Jam
