Ric Gendron

I saw some paintings by Ric Gendron at one of the urban schools I visited today, and thought he deserved a post of his own. The colors and strokes of these paintings drew me in, but the narrative and symbols kept me hooked. Check out the gallery at the link above, and an interview (about a portrait of Sherman Alexie, one of my favorite authors) here.
